Happy Birthday, Pat Tillman

Happy 38th birthday to Pat Tillman. (Nov. 6, 1976 - Apr. 22, 2004) And rest in peace.

Here's the text of a column I wrote last month about his induction into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame:

Pat Tillman is not in the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame.

I know.

I couldn't believe it either.

"That's the reaction most of the people I've spoken with about this have," said Chuck Schluter, a Navy and Army vet who was inducted into the hall in 2007. "That's why I'm so excited about what will happen on the 24th. Pat will be recognized in a way that is much deserved."
