ANDREW MCCABE LEAVING FBI. Clinton Email Indictments Are Coming

I love H.A. but they'll never indict Clinton. Guccifer said, "She's one of the high priests, a goddess of this occult, satanic, shadow group!"

Central Banks Could Hold Cryptocurrencies in 2018

Bitcoinist

With Bitcoin and its smaller siblings gaining so much momentum in 2017, governments and central banks now have little choice but to acknowledge that cryptocurrencies are here to stay.

Volatility is still a major setback, especially with Bitcoin, which has swung by $8,000 in just seven days.

Of banks and cryptocurrency, Peter Smith, CEO of Blockchain, told CNBC in an interview last week:

This year will be the first year we start to see central banks start to hold digital currencies as part of their balance sheet.

Paul Craig Roberts: De Facto Travel Restrictions Now Exist For Americans

Dear Friends, I apologize for dumping this on you at Christmas, a time for peace and joy. But these are the facts. We can ignore them only at our peril.

Green Party presidential Candidate Jill Stein is being investigated by the Senate Intelligence (sic) Committee for “Russian connections.”

What has brought Russiagate to Jill Stein? The answer is that she attended the 10th Anniversary RT dinner in Moscow as did the notorious “Russian collaborator” US General Michael Flynn. RT is a news organization, a far better one than exists in the West, but if you were one of the many accomplished people who attended the anniversary dinner, you are regarded by Republican Senator Richard Burr from North Carolina as a possible Kremlin agent.

UN Votes to Condemn the United States for Jerusalem Move

UNITED NATIONS — The Latest on the U.N. vote on Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and related developments (all times local):

Iran's foreign minister is welcoming the U.N. General Assembly resolution rejecting the Trump administration's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, calling it a "global no" to intimidation by President Donald Trump.

Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted after the vote that the resolution soundly criticizes "Trump's regime thuggish intimidation at UN."

Don't Fire Mueller, President Trump – Let Him Keep Making A Fool Of Himself Instead

My birthday is next week, and I am old enough to remember back when Robert Mueller’s Russia-Whatever investigation was about collusion. Remember collusion, that wacky concept from the heady days of early 2017, back when it was all Trump and Putin sittin’ in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g? Well, we aren’t hearing much about collusion anymore. In fact, we aren’t hearing anything about collusion anymore, except from Adam Schiff whenever he gets off the phone with Tater Stelter at CNN long enough to essentially insist that the collusion is all so very, very obvious, and that evidence is just a bourgeois conceit, and also please don’t look at the scheming bureaucrats behind the curtain.

Massive Fraud in Net Neutrality Process is a Crime Deserving of Justice Department Attention

If one was expecting to have a reasoned, adult debate over “Net Neutrality” in the lead-up to the Federal Communications Commission’s vote last week to roll-back the Obama-era regulations, they were surely disappointed. Rather than a logical look at the current state of how the internet works today (much of the anti-FCC rhetoric was not based in such a reality), or even a practical discussion about how the internet has evolved freely and robustly absent of such regulations, most of the “discussion” was a digital shouting match of partisan and anti-capitalism rhetoric. That, and a massive amount of fraud.

A Letter to Jamie Dimon

CHAIN BLOG

Dear Jamie,

My name is Adam Ludwin and I run a company called Chain. I have been working in and around the cryptocurrency market for several years.

Last week you said a few things about Bitcoin:

It’s easy to believe cryptocurrencies have no inherent value. Or that governments will crush them.

It’s also becoming fashionable to believe the opposite: that they will disrupt banks, governments, and Silicon Valley giants once and for all.

Neither extreme is true.

The Pentagon's UFO Program Raises a Serious Policy Issue

I've watched the accompanying video five times now. I don’t know what’s more unnerving—the way whatever that thing is moves, or how gobsmacked two highly trained Navy fighter pilots are at how it moves. Over the weekend, and under the by-lines of two reporters with Pulitzer Prizes hanging on their walls, The New York Times ran the damnedest piece about the U.S. government’s secret program to determine if there are space aliens hereabouts, and what the hell we should do about it if there are. Pro Tip: There very well might be, if the Times report is accurate, and there isn't anything we can do about it at the moment.

The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program, which it says it shut down in 2012.

Mueller has a partisan pack of wolves and an illegitimate investigation

It seems every day we're finding out more about the partisan and conflicted nature of special counsel Robert Mueller's team. Some of the conflicts have been known for months. But others, such as the actions of some FBI investigators on the independent counsel’s team, are just coming to light and further call into question the objectivity and nonpartisanship, and therefore the legitimacy of the investigation.

The text messages between Peter Strzok and his alleged mistress, Lisa Page, from which we’ve learned their general loathing of President Trump, are perhaps the most troubling. The questions now being raised as to what they meant by an “insurance plan” should Trump be elected require a deeper dive than the recent excuse that it was simply code to hide the affair.
