Mueller Report Proves That It’s Time to Investigate the Investigators

Now that President Trump has been exonerated of the false accusations of collusion and obstruction, it is time to investigate the investigators.

The White House has justly praised the outcome of special counsel Robert Mueller‘s investigation for clearing the president of the odious charges that have hung over his presidency since even before his inauguration. The Mueller report overall was favorable to the president, but it also should be remembered as the Mueller special counsel’s final abuse of power. There were nearly 200 pages of irrelevancies about Russia collusion, but it couldn’t disguise the fact that all of those alleged contacts between the Russians and the Trump campaign amounted to nothing, legally or substantively.

Obama White House Knew About Clinton Emails Years Earlier Than Previously Admitted

Top officials working in the White House under former President Barack Obama knew Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was using a private email system for official government business three years before it became public, according to documents obtained by Judicial Watch.

“WH [White House] called—have we received a FOIA request from CREW on the topic of personal use of email by senior officials?

“Apparently other agencies have. If we have it, can you give me the details so I can call the WH back? I think they’d like it on quick turnaround. Thanks! Sheryl,” read a Dec. 20, 2012 email from Sheryl L. Walter, then-director of the Department of State’s Office of Information Programs and Services.

Graham Seeks Communications Between State Dept. Official and Dossier Author

Newly released notes revealed the apparent political purposes of the infamous Steele dossier which was used by the FBI to secure a warrant to spy on former Trump campaign associate Carter Page.

Lindsey Graham, the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman, sent a letter (pdf) to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on May 10 requesting that the Department of State provide documents related to communications between the department’s officials and the author of the dossier, British ex-spy Christopher Steele.

He made the requests after the notes of an Oct. 11, 2016, meeting between Steele and then-Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Kathleen Kavalec emerged.

DOJ inspector general found Carter Page FISA extensions were illegally obtained, Joe diGenova says

The Justice Department inspector general has determined the three Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant extensions against onetime Trump campaign aide Carter Page were illegally obtained, attorney Joe diGenova said on Thursday.

In an investigation that began last year, Inspector General Michael Horowitz is examining the Justice Department's and FBI's compliance with legal requirements as well as policies and procedures in applications filed with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court related to Page as part of a larger counterintelligence probe into Trump's campaign.

FBI's Steele story falls apart: False intel and media contacts were flagged before FISA

The FBI’s sworn story to a federal court about its asset, Christopher Steele, is fraying faster than a $5 souvenir T-shirt bought at a tourist trap.

Newly unearthed memos show a high-ranking government official who met with Steele in October 2016 determined some of the Donald Trump dirt that Steele was simultaneously digging up for the FBI and for Hillary Clinton’s campaign was inaccurate, and likely leaked to the media.

The concerns were flagged in a typed memo and in handwritten notes taken by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec on Oct. 11, 2016.
